Today people are living longer and generally have more leisure time to visit new places and take part in a wide variety of recreational activities. The practice has been involved in a number of projects to increase the use of the inland waterways, caravan and mobile home parks. We have also made prepared designs for numerous garden centres, public houses, restaurants and a golf course.

Projects

Narrowboat Interiors & Marina, Napton
One of the more unusual commissions obtained by the practice was from Black Prince Holidays Limited to design a range of narrowboats for its expanding fleet based on the extensive network of canals in the Midlands of the U.K.

The practice's skill at designing and manipulating attractive spaces within strict confines of a site or building were recognised and applied to the task. The result was four new narrowboats namely the - 2/4 berth QE2, 4/6 berth QE4, 6/8 berth QE6 and the 8/10 berth Princess and QE8 which set new standards in comfort and luxury.

The practice rose to the challenge and with over 100 boats being constructed, the craft have proved to be very popular with holidaymakers for the last 20 years.
